I have been practicing for 10 years in the areas of Family Law and Wills & Estates.

I started my career working in firms in Parkes and Forbes NSW where I practised as generalist Solicitor. I then went onto becoming a partner at Allwright Bourke Lawyers & Conveyancing - where I led the Family Law and Wills & Estates departments across the firms’ multiple locations and handled complex family law and Wills & Estates matters.

In 2022 I launched the online product Wills No Frills, to help more Australians have access to a low-cost, simple will online. In 2024 Iwon the NSW Partner of the Year award for Innovation for Wills No Frills.

I have a double degree in Criminology & Law and a Masters degree in Family Law. I am also an Independent Children’s Lawyer & a NSW Public Notary.

I enjoys helping people. Nothing is more rewarding than helping someone. When a client comes to me, they may be going through some of the toughest times in their life. For example, in family law, my client often have experienced family violence, are stressed about not seeing their children or are devastated that they have to sell their family home to achieve a property settlement. I try to provide wholistic advice and give client’s the confidence to move on and make informed decisions. Seeing clients be able to move on and find their strength is a privilege.

I also want to ensure that good legal representation is accessible. I am moving towards more fixed fee billing - because I am passionate about transparency in legal fees and ensuring client’s get value for money.

Outside of work, you will find me running around after my two boys and husband. Life is busy! But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I’ve recently rekindled my love of reading and started to enjoy baking ( i know, I’m getting old!) I also enjoy swimming and walking.

I also enjoy marketing and social media. I really enjoy posting on social media about Family Law and Wills and estate and answering questions on those platforms - to educate and explain complex legal issues in plain English. I offer consulting services to small business owners to assist with their social media and marketing.
