If so, our fixed fee package might be right for you. Obtaining consent orders to divide property is an essential step to finalise your financial relationship with your ex.

Includes

2 to 3 appointments ( in person or via video) - where i take instructions, provide you with advice and help you understand the process

I will prepare a balance sheet and review your financial disclosure to make sure the agreement is fair

I will prepare an Application for Consent Orders and all relevent Court forms to formalise yoru property settlement

I will send you drafts and circulate the approved drafts to your ex ( or thier Solicitor)

Once the Consent Orders are signed - I will file the documents with the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia

Once the Court makes the Orders - i will explain any steps that you need to do, to implement and comply with the Court orders ( such as adding or removing you from the title of a house or doing a super split - pls note the fixed fee does not include conveyancing fee or work to implement the Consent Orders)

The fixed fee does not include the Court filing fee

I will assist with basic correspondence with your ex to exchange and review financial disclosure. Once we have all the financial disclosure, I can calculate the percentage split of the proposed division of assets and provide you with advice on whether the agreed division if “fair”.

I can then help you draft the agreement into formal Consent Orders , draft the relevant court documents, arrange for them to be signed by you and your ex and file them with the Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia.

This fixed fee package is for client’s who have reached an agreement. If you matter requires extensive correspondence, negotiations, mediation or Court proceedings, my hourly rates would apply.
